Are Algae & Seaweed The Ultimate Superfoods For Detoxing To Burn Fat?
Detox With Thomas Now: https://ift.tt/2GpbExE Now when most people think about eating their vegetables, we tend to think about the stuff that grows on land - like broccoli or spinach… But as it turns out, some of the most powerful superfoods known to science are ones that are actually grown in water. Like these, I have in front of me right now! These are live cultures of organic Spirulina Algae, Organic Chlorella and Organic kelp - which is a form of seaweed. -Spirulina - This ancient, blue-green algae packs a wide range of nutrients including huge amounts of protein, all eight essential amino acids, 10 of the 12 non-essential amino acids, powerful antioxidants, minerals such as iron, manganese, and sodium, and more than a dozen vitamins. It’s actually known as the most nutrient dense food on the planet. It’s a powerful detoxifier; Spirulina can bind with heavy metals in the body and help remove them. It is also extremely high in Chlorophyll, which helps remove toxins from the blood and boost the immune system. In fact, one study found that 500 milligrams of spirulina daily combined with zinc supplementation were enough to reduce arsenic toxicity by almost half! It increases fat loss and muscle endurance; Spirulina is known to increase fat burning during exercise. Its high antioxidant content makes it beneficial in reducing exercise-induced oxidation which leads to muscle fatigue and inability to gain muscle. Chlorella - Like Spirulina, it is a freshwater algae with a host of benefits. Unlike spirulina, it is a single-celled freshwater algae (spirulina is multi-cell). It is also one of the oldest known species on the planet and that has the unique ability to reproduce 8 times a day, making it a sustainable nutrient source. Chlorella is a source of Chlorophyll, Protein, Iron, Magnesium, and amino acids, but it is primarily known as nature’s best detoxifier. It’s much smaller than Spirulina… Therefore its tiny size and unique properties make it able to bind to heavy metals and unwanted chemicals in the body. In fact, it’s so effective that it is often used by those undergoing chemotherapy or radiation to help reduce the body’s chemical load, and it is said to support the body’s liver and detoxification pathways without stripping beneficial minerals from the body. -Kelp - Kelp is a group of large sea algae that is commonly referred to as seaweed. It’s one of the best food sources of iodine. Iodine is one of the most important elements in our thyroid gland and it helps to regulate hormonal function throughout the body as well as promote your metabolism It helps the body adapt to stress; Kelp improves our levels of the antioxidant glutathione. This antioxidant helps reduce stress, promotes healing and healthy aging So how can you get more of these water-bound superfoods in your diet? Well, you certainly don’t have to grow them in test tubes - although that would be the most potent way to reap their benefits! Now spirulina and chlorella are most often found in tablet form. This is because it wouldn’t be cost effective for selling the live cultures at your local grocery store - therefore these two algae superfoods are commonly converted into a dry pressed powder and can be found on the shelves of most supplement and grocery stores. The only downside to this is that due to their difficulty to the source, these algae supplements are typically very high priced. When it comes to seaweed, you can actually get this at your local sushi restaurant as many offer seaweed salads on their menus. You can also find seaweed at your grocery store in the form of kelp noodles and in nori sheets as well as in supplement form. Now here’s the catch with the supplement forms of these superfoods - they are in capsule and tablet pressed form… Which requires more time for the digestive system to break them down and get the nutrients into the bloodstream... Whereas within my Green Detox blend, I’ve used a gently dried powder form of these 3 superfoods. This potent powder form enables the body to absorb them much more rapidly and more efficiently than in any other form so you can experience the benefits much faster. Now… At the end of my superfoods takeover week, I am going to be giving you more details on how you can get your hands on your first month's supply… and how you can win a free gift that I had personally made for you guys - so stay tuned in! Tomorrow I will be shedding light on a few of the best superfoods for fighting inflammation. I’ll see you in tomorrow’s episode. -Thomas Detox To Burn Fat & Get In The Health You Deserve: https://ift.tt/2GpbExE
