If he sees the wrong brand of shoes, he tells you to leave. This was real life in a small German town because of a bitter rivalry between two brothers. Adolf Dassler, known as Adi, and his brother Rudolf Dassler, known as Rudy, started a shoe factory together in their mother's washroom. They were the perfect team at first because Adi was a quiet inventor who loved making shoes and Rudy was a loud salesman who loved making deals. They even got famous runner Jesse Owens to wear their spikes when he won four gold medals at the 1936 Olympics, which made their business explode. ✎ Success did not bring peace to the family and soon the brothers started to hate each other. During World War II, a simple misunderstanding in a bomb shelter made Rudy believe that Adi was his enemy. By 1948, the brothers split their company in half and moved to opposite sides of a river. Adi named his new company Adidas and Rudy named his company Puma. This fight split their whole town right down the middle. People lived in Adidas neighborhoods, drank at Puma pubs, and families would even stop talking to each other if someone married a person from the rival side. ✎ The reason these companies became so big is because the brothers used their anger as fuel to work harder. They spied on each other and raced to see who could make a better shoe for famous athletes like Pele or the German national football team. This story shows that competition can push you to become better and stronger than you ever thought possible. If you want to win in your own life, you have to be bold and focus on what you do best. Don't be afraid of challenges because the hardest times are often what help you build your empire and become who you are meant to be. ✎ To get more details on all the research and studies mentioned in this video check out the articles below: https://ift.tt/olTqL6R https://ift.tt/yexiRs1 https://ift.tt/2H59Ixl https://ift.tt/R9Uyk3m https://ift.tt/MJKpPaO https://ift.tt/8kglnVj https://ift.tt/laY3ktE https://ift.tt/EBXFQaL ★ BOOKS ★ • Momentum: https://amzn.to/3kJZIAv • Build to Serve: https://amzn.to/3XZiCSg • Your One Word: https://amzn.to/3R9qVII • The Top 10 Rules for Success: https://amzn.to/3JcNZVe • 254 Confidence: https://amzn.to/3jdh9c2 ★ RECOMMENDED VIDEOS FOR YOU ★ If you liked this video, you'll love these ones: • How to get rich without luck, talent, or a trust fund - https://youtu.be/sfkGBybEjP4 • Psychology of People Who Get Rich From Zero | Most People Never Notice This - https://youtu.be/A4Zz07hz478 • How “Regular” People are hitting 1 Million Subs in 2026 - https://youtu.be/4orTTOwVgYM ⚑ SUBSCRIBE TO MY CHANNEL ⚑ If you want to do great things you need to have a great environment.
