Norway Travel Vlog: Friluftsliv, Freezing Fjords, Reindeer & Northern Lights

Our journey starts in Toronto, Canada, before we fly through Frankfurt to reach the city of Oslo. We are joined by our friend Nina as we explore the snowy landscapes and learn about the local way of living outdoors. From skiing down mountains to trying to catch a glimpse of the magical northern lights, this adventure is packed with cold weather and exciting moments. ✎ Our travels take us to the mountain town of Hemsedal, where we stay with our wonderful hosts, Anniken and Alan. They show us how to hike up steep ski slopes in the biting wind and teach us how to ride fun sleds down hills in the dark. We also get a taste of unique Norwegian food traditions, like eating frozen Grandiosa pizza and making a massive taco feast for New Year's Eve. Nina even learns how to cook fresh fish caught straight from a local lake, and we top it all off with thin waffles covered in sweet brown cheese. ✎ The next stop on our big trip is the city of Tromso, which sits way up high in the Arctic Circle. We spend our days exploring the downtown area, drinking hot coffee, and eating warm reindeer stew to escape the freezing cold. We also take a special bus ride to visit a traditional Sami camp to feed real reindeer and go sledding under the stars.
