Wealthy People Think About Money More — Not Less
There's a common belief that wealthy people are somehow above thinking about money. That obsessing over it is a character flaw, and the truly successful have moved beyond worrying about numbers. Dan Lok has spent significant time around genuinely wealthy people, and in this episode he explains why that belief is backwards. Wealthy people think about money constantly, more than most people do, not less. The real difference isn't how often they think about it. It's the quality of the thinking itself. Dan breaks down two completely different modes of thinking about money: scarcity thinking, which is reactive and protective, versus architecture thinking, which is structural and expansive. One asks how to get more and not run out. The other asks where the leverage is, how assets connect, and what structure produces results without requiring constant time and attention. He also references Richard Koch's idea that money follows attention, specifically structured attention aimed at the highest-return use of a resource. This episode includes a direct exercise: spend a week noticing the quality of your money thoughts, not the quantity, and see which mode you're actually operating in. Watch the full episode now. Until next time, stay certain.
